We have lift-off !

Hello one and all.

Just wanted to let you know that the brand new jeremy days album (our first in 26 years!!) is produced and recorded! The audio files are making their way across the Atlantic ocean as I write these lines.
Finding their way to Los Angeles, where this very talented gentleman (Marc Daniel Nelson: he's the one on the left) will be mixing the eleven songs that we've been working on for the past 12 months:

Wow. This is all very, very exciting.
We had originally planned to meet up somewhere to record together, but a weird worldwide pandemic (you may have heard) put an end to all those high-flying ambitions. So, we did what needed to be done.

During lockdown we recorded in our own home studios and 'met' during weekly 'jdays monday on my mind' zoom sessions, a sort of digital band rehearsal / coffee-table gossip round / old dudes group session. And I must say, I'm proud and a little bit surprised how well and smoothly it all worked. We did meet up (at least the Hamburg part of the group) to record drums. You may have seen the photos of our sessions at Hafenklang (first batch of songs) and Wilhelmsrock (second batch of songs) on the website. Apart from Stevo burning the house down with his drumming, it was just such a great feeling to all be in the same room making music together again. The whole process gave the recordings such a vibe that has sustained them (and us) until today.
And so, I've made rough mixes of the songs so Marc can hear what we're imagining in our heads, and now he'll open up the tracks and have a go.

I'll keep you updated. Just wanted to let you all know that it's all coming together and that we are all very, very excited and may I dare say it: happy. Thanks for your patience and, well, just being there and showing your support. You are truely the best!  We can't wait for you to hear what we've been up to and then come play some shows in your city.

Wow, the fun we'll all have... ah.
Cheers
D
